Adventures

How do I join Jersey Girls Photo Adventures (JGPA)?

We aren't a group that you join. If you are looking to join an upcoming Adventure you can find the Adventure details on our Calendar page of our website.

How do I register for an Adventure?

You can register by clicking the registration button on the home page of our website, click on an Adventure from our Calendar page, by looking us up on Eventbrite or if you subscribed to our mailing list you would have received an email from us that has a link to register.

Are your Adventures just for girls?

No, our Adventures are for everyone.

Do I have to be a professional photographer to join an Adventure?

You do not have to be a professional or avid photographer. Our Adventures are for everyone from the curious to the professional. We do like to encourage beginners to join us because we are a "no pressure, just fun photo Adventure" meet up for like minded people.

How do I find out when the next Adventure is?

Watch for us to post an Adventure on Facebook, Instagram on the Calendar page of our website OR you can subscribe to our mailing list. Individuals on our mailing list are the first to know the details with an open register before everyone else.

Why aren't the JGPA Adventures free?

Our registration covers the overhead costs of being able to provide Adventures from different places of interest in and around New Jersey. Our small fee helps with the costs of running and operating JGPA. Some of the fees that we incur are for the website, which includes hosting and domain fees, just to name a few.

Registering for an Adventure

I didn't receive my confirmation email after registering for an Adventure, what do I do?

Reach out to us by using the Contact Us page of website, send us a private message us on Facebook or Instagram and we will make sure you receive all the details you need for an Adventure.

Where are all the details on your Adventure?

Safety first! We don't always reveal all of the specific details when we post online. Instead, those missing details are revealed in your confirmation email upon registration.

Where is everyone gathering for the Adventure?

Safety first! Details on where everyone will be gathering will be in your confirmation email upon registration.

Why isn't the Registration button working on your website?

The registration button only works when we have an active Adventure. Please check back or always feel free to reach out to us using our Contact Us page or private message on Facebook or Instagram.

Sharing Photos with JGPA

Where can I share my photos from an Adventure with JGPA?

We LOVE to see your photos from an Adventure! You can post them to our Facebook page or send them over using Facebook Messenger and we can post them for you, or you can tag us using #jerseygirlsphotoadventures on Instagram.

How can I tag you so that you can find my photos?

  • Instagram - As you step through creating a post type #jerseygirlsphotoadventures in the caption then "Share."

  • Facebook - Send them over to us in a private message, and we will be happy to post them for you

  • Post your photo to our Facebook page

  • Comment to the Facebook event for the Adventure and leave your photo in the comments

We are looking at tags all the time. If you are still having problems, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.

How can I get my photo featured on Instagram by JGPA?

Tag us using the tag #jerseygirlsphotoadventures. We are constantly looking for our tag and we often, randomly, will choose a photo and feature it on Instagram, and then share that photo on our Facebook page, always giving you credit for your work.

Where are the one-on-one lessons?

The location depends on the type of lesson. They would either be in Browns Mills, or at a site location learning "in the field."
