Full, Strawberry Moon Photo Op

Grab your camera! It’s a super moon! If you don’t already know a super moon is when a full moon is near its closest approach to Earth.

According to the Farmer’s Almanac, this month’s moon “name was universal to every Algonquin tribe. However, in Europe they called it the Rose Moon. Also because the relatively short season for harvesting strawberries comes each year during the month of June . . . so the full Moon that occurs during that month was christened for the strawberry!”
